How to . . .

CHANGE THE ORDER OF THE PICTURES

The images in an album are diplayed in strict alphabetical order.

To alter their order, you must alter their names and any changes must also be applied to all four two-letter sub-folders in each Album.

The software assumes a direct correlation between each image in each directory so that the first, second, third in each corresponds to the first second and third in each other.

The file extensions are omitted in these EXAMPLES.

1. You have a collection of files sorted numerically (by Windows)
   1 2 3 11 12 13 21 22 23 31 32 33 141 142 143
   sorted alphabetically (in an Album):
   1 11 12 13 141 142 143 2 21 22 23 3 31 32 33
sorted aphabetically and numerically in an album
   001 002 003 011 012 013 021 022 023 031 032 033 141 142 143

i.e. pad the filename with preceeding zeroes to have the same number of
digits as the largest likely number.

2. You have an existing album and want to place a photo between two others
where it has context but can't rename them because of others.
   ... 017 018 019 020 021 022 ...
You'd like to put one between 19 and 20? No problem. See (1) above and you
realise you can simply call it 019a or anything else on the end and the
literal alphabetising will work in your favour.
   ... 017 018 019 019m 020 021 022 ...
Tip: using a mid-alphabet letter to insert files in the order leaves more
room for the same lower-case letter use when you have to add another
   - 019f - and another - 019j - even years later!
