FILE: headers-adding-one
From: Tim HillSubject: HEADERS: ADDING ONE Date: Mon, 22 Oct 2018 11:05 HEADERS: ADDING ONE To add a header (or several) to an outgoing message that Pluto does not itself add, you need to add it at the top of your signature file(s) preceded by [dollar][space], thus: $ [header] EXAMPLE 1 Make sure all the replies to a mailing list come back to the address that handles replies: $ Reply-To: your@email EXAMPLE 2 Pluto normally asks only for a DELIVERY receipt if you tick ACK in a write window. If you want your messages to ask for a READ receipt you can add this to the top of your signature file: $ Disposition-Notification-To: your@email $ Read-Receipt-To: your@email $ X-Confirm-reading-to: your@email Why three? Different email programs started off with different ideas.
